Also for a Third time they got a new drummer his name was John Mayhew.

In 1971 before they started on there third album "Nursery Cryme" Anthony left because of stage fright

In 1975 Lead Vocalist Peter Gabriel right after "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway Tour"
An Album the will always be a favorite with all hardcore Genesis fans everywere.
A 2 Record Set with the adventure of Rael. If a movie were to be
made out of this album, it would of been better than "The Wall" and thats saying a lot!

Genesis in 1977
Left to Right;
Tony Banks, Steve Hackett(top), Mike Rutherford, Phil Collins

Instead of getting a new singer, they stuck Phil up to the mic stand.
Genesis recorded 2 great albums "A Trick of the Tail & "Wind and Wuthering"
On Tour Phil was too busy singing, so they borrowed drummer Bill Bruford for the 76 tour.

The '77 Tour gave us Chester Thompson
Gutiarist Steve Hackett left the group at the end of the '77 Tour (Which Sucks!)
leaveing Genesis down to a trio.

On the '78 Album Titled "...And Then There Were Three..."
Mike took over Gutiar and kept on Playing Bass
