1970 marked the year of the beautifly Progressive Album "Trespass"
A Total Change from their first album Included songs like: White Mountain, Stagnation, & The Knife
Also for a Third time they got a new drummer his name was John Mayhew.
In 1971 before they started on there third album "Nursery Cryme" Anthony left because of stage fright
and John Mayhew took off. Added to the line up was some guy named Phil Collins playing drums and providing backing vocals
Steve Hackett took over Anthony's Role giving Genesis more of an greater sound.

After Nursery Cryme came "Foxtrot" an album like no one had ever seen before. This album holds the classic Genesis tune
Supper's Ready.A song which lasts 23 minutes long and fills your mind with all kinds of funny & mind melting images.
In 1975 Lead Vocalist Peter Gabriel right after "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway Tour"
An Album the will always be a favorite with all hardcore Genesis fans everywere.
A 2 Record Set with the adventure of Rael. If a movie were to be
made out of this album, it would of been better than "The Wall" and thats saying a lot!
Instead of getting a new singer, they stuck Phil up to the mic stand.
Genesis recorded 2 great albums "A Trick of the Tail & "Wind and Wuthering"
On Tour Phil was too busy singing, so they borrowed drummer Bill Bruford for the 76 tour.
The '77 Tour gave us Chester Thompson
Gutiarist Steve Hackett left the group at the end of the '77 Tour (Which Sucks!)
leaveing Genesis down to a trio.
On the '78 Album Titled "...And Then There Were Three..."
Mike took over Gutiar and kept on Playing Bass
Daryl Stuermer joined Genesis on Tour and play Gutiar and Bass
(what ever Mike doesn't feel like playing)

Genesis went through the 80's being a very succesfull "Pop" band.
With very good selling albums like "Invisible Touch" & "We can't Dance"
In 1996 Phil left the band, and turned to his solo carrer.

In 1997 Phil was replaced by Ray Wilson on Vocals and Nir Z on drums. Yes Mike and Tony are still going with their 20th album
